چکیده
Abstract Sorption kinetics of organic compounds on biochars is important for understanding the retardation mobility and bioavailability compounds. Herein, sorption 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene prepared from 200 to 700 °C was investigated explore process. Loose partition matrix condensed were formed at relatively low moderate temperatures, respectively. However, produced high temperatures rich pore structures. Therefore, equilibrium time increased with increasing preparation temperature 350 due slower diffusion rate in more matrix, then decreased when higher than 400 because faster adsorption greater number pores. Linear positive relationship between rates 200, 250, 300, H/C ratios observed, suggesting that inhibition process caused by biochars. relationships (i.e., fast outer slow rate) 400, 450, 550, graphite defects increase could promote quantity channels sites. This study reveals underlying mechanisms large size biochars, which has potential guidance application prediction environmental risks Graphical

Pyrolytic temperatures impact lead sorption mechanisms by bagasse biochars.
The characteristics and mechanisms of Pb sorption by biochars produced from sugarcane bagasse at 250, 400, 500, and 600 °C were examined. The Pb sorption isotherms, kinetics and desorption were investigated. All biochars were effective in Pb sorption and were well described by Langmuir isotherm model and pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The maximum sorption capacity decreased from 21 to 6.1 m...
متن کاملKinetics of primary sludge digestion at various temperatures
Anaerobic digestion is now commonly used for sludge treatment. Most industrial digesters operate under mesophilic (37°C) or thermophilic (55°C) conditions. These two regimes are considered as optimal for methane production. In this work, continuous sludge digestion has been operated at labscale at 5 different temperatures comprised between 28° and 55°C. The reactors were first inoculated with a...
متن کاملCharacteristics and nutrient values of biochars produced from giant reed at different temperatures.
To investigate the effect of pyrolysis temperature on properties and nutrient values, biochars were produced from giant reed (Arundo donax L.) at 300-600°C and their properties such as elemental and mineral compositions, release of N, P and K, and adsorption of N and P were determined. With increasing temperatures, more N was lost and residual N was transformed into heterocyclic-N, whereas no P...
متن کاملAmmonium retention by oxidized biochars produced at different pyrolysis temperatures and residence times
In order to investigate the effects of pyrolysis conditions and oxidation on the retention potential of ammonium by biochar in aqueous solution, biochars were produced frommixedmaple wood at different pyrolysis temperatures (300, 400, 500, 600, 700 C) and residence times (5, 60, 120, 400, 800 min) and adsorption and desorption was determined. Hydrogen peroxide was used to oxidize the biochars w...
متن کاملCalculation of MnO Activity in Aluminate Slags at Various Temperatures
In this research, the activity of MnO, produced during steel making in aluminate-rich slags, was investigated. According to thermodynamic equations and mathematical calculation, a series of relations was obtained for evaluation of oxide activity using Masson’s theory. The obtained relations were solved according to Levenberg- Marquardt method and using Matlab software. The results were correlat...
